Bunbury Catholic College hosts Grandparents Morning Tea to celebrate special relationship with grandchildren

It was a special day for students of Bunbury Catholic College last week as they invited some of their most treasured family members to school. Although they go by many names - Nonas, Nanas, Pops and Opas - grandparents often play a special role in the lives of their grandchildren. That bond was celebrated on Thursday at the school’s Grandparents Morning Tea, which saw 43 grandparents and other special guests of Year 9 students come together. Both pupils and the visitors enjoyed a delicious serving of scones with jam and cream in the school gymnasium, served up by Year 9 home economics students.
