In Pictures: Region’s creative minds on show as Bunbury Catholic College host 2024 Art Extraordinaire

Bunbury Catholic College was abuzz on Friday night as its annual Art Extraordinaire fundraising exhibition opened its doors. Dozens headed along to the opening night of this year’s showing, which was the first held since event founder Ria Bignell died in July. She was remembered with a new award named in her honour, with Diana Neggo the first recipient for her work Koombana Bay III. This year’s exhibition closed on Sunday, with 460 pieces of art from 120 different artists on display. Barbara Maumill took out the People’s Choice Award for her work Bridgetown.
