Geraldton detectives investigating juvenile ging attack on home, which left woman with facial injuries

A woman suffered “significant facial injuries” after she was struck by projectiles when she confronted a group of juveniles using gings to launch rocks at a Geraldton home. Geraldton detectives are investigating and have appealed for the public’s help regarding the aggravated home burglary and robbery on Thursday, March 13. Police say about 10.40pm a group of up to five teenage boys, aged between 14 and 17, went to a property on Ainsworth Street in Geraldton where they “used gings to launch rocks and smash a window into the home.” “Two occupants confronted the group, one woman suffered significant facial injuries when projectiles were fired at them,” police stated. An electric scooter was stolen during the incident.
