Recognised as WA’s biggest oneday show, this year’s Brunswick Show lived up to its reputation.

Show publicity officer Lindsay Rose said the perfect weather attracted more than 15,500 people to the annual show.

She said one of the most popular attractions was the children’s Discovery Trail, which had more than 700 participants.

“It was good fun and the children got to travel to all areas of the showground and look at things they wouldn’t have otherwise seen,” Mrs Rose said.

She described the gigantic Aquatank filled with barramundi, as “a star of the show”.

“Fishermen received heaps of hints and the demonstrations proved how the tips actually made a difference,” she said.

As dusk set, the attractions took a different path, with audience’s wowed by the high aerial tricks of the Incendiary Dance Troupe.

The troupe said it was great to have such an energetic and interactive crowd intently watching their every trick.

Mrs Rose said the impressive fire acrobatics were followed by a fabulous sky show of fireworks.

She said overall the show was a hit and the crowds well-behaved.

Despite numbers down in the displays, judges agreed the standard of entries was impressive.
