Man dies after horror 20m fall off cliff while bushwalking in Ku-ring-gai Chase national park
A man has died after a horror 20m fall down a cliff while bushwalking in Sydney’s Ku-ring-gai Chase national park.
Emergency services were called to a picnic area on the Duckholes Trail in Terrey Hills, following reports a man had fallen 20m from a cliff into water below.
NSW Police worked to assist the man, however his body was found in water below.
While he is yet to be formally identified, police believe the man is in his 40s.
His body has since been recovered from the water and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
A crime scene was established as police investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
