The South West Italian Club transformed into a winter wonderland for the Australind Senior High School Year 12 Ball on Saturday night.

The hall was decked out in whites, blues and silvers, with many of the more than 160 students who attended the evening opting for colours which fitted in with the theme.
Strapless dresses proved popular with the girls while the boys sported a range of dark suits and tuxedos paired with brightly coloured ties and bowties.
Beau and Belle of the ball went to Lochie Adcock and Grace Adams, who were cheered onto the stage by the rest of the Year 12s.
Year 11 and 12 ATAR coordinator Linda Woodrow said the night was a great success.
“The students were all exceptionally well behaved and it was nice seeing the girls in their beautiful dresses and the boys looking smart in their suits, ” Ms Woodrow said.
“I think everybody had a lot of fun and it was a pleasure to be involved with the evening.”
With the ball out of the way, Australind Senior High School Year 12s now turn their attention to the important academic year ahead.
