Australia Day fun in Bunbury

Australia Day is the City of Bunbury’s biggest celebration of the year.

Each year it grows in popularity, continuing to attract thousands of people from far and wide.

This, the 23rd Australia Day celebrations and Fireworks Spectacular, will feature plenty of fun and entertainment for the whole family culminating in 30 minutes of spectacular fireworks which will be fired from land, water and the Bunbury Tower at 8.30pm.

CELEBRATIONS PROGRAM

From 6.30am — Silver Chain Australia Day Breakfast; Mayor’s presentation of Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year and the Community Event of the Year awards.

From 10am — Big Swamp Wildlife Park Open Day located on Prince Phillip Drive.

From 1pm — Market stalls sideshow alley and roving entertainers.

From 4pm — Smarter than Smoking Youth Zone at Queens Garden.

From 5pm — Dale Alcock South West Family Concert featuring the Warangka Band, Vegemite Dancers, Bizircus, Future Landings Dance Project, Sister’s Doll.

7.30pm — Headline act: Courtney Murphy & Murphy’s Lore.

8.30pm — Fireworks Spectacular.
