Bird sparks Bunbury outage
More than 1000 homes and businesses were without power yesterday morning after a bird flew into a Western Power transformer.
The power outage was reported about 8am, taking out traffic lights across the CBD and leaving 1200 businesses and homes without electricity.
A Western Power spokeswoman said that power was restored by 9.30am.
