A vehicle charging station to be installed in the Bunbury CBD will form be part of the RAC Electric Highway.

Owners of the electric powered cars will be able to drive from Perth to Augusta because of nine publicly accessible fast charging stations.

RAC will pay for the installation while the Bunbury City Council will pay for ongoing costs and upkeep.
