Celebrations kick off in Bunbury

The start of the festive season was celebrated on Sunday with Bunbury’s annual Christmas Carnival.

People flocked to Bicentennial Square to watch a spectacular street parade and enjoy lots of entertainment.

City of Bunbury events and tourism development officer Jonathon Crabtree said the sand sculpture created by Sandstorm Events, which will remain on display outside the Visitors Centre until December 13, was a hit with crowds.
