Community icon laid to rest

Community leaders and admiring citizens from Bunbury and the South West turned out in force as the late Dr Ern Manea was laid to rest at Bunbury Cemetery today.

An enormous crowd filled St Patrick’s Cathedral to remember Dr Manea and celebrate the amazing achievements of this unique and generous man.

After the ceremony, the Bunbury City Band played Amazing Grace as they led the cortege to the cemetery for burial.
