Cricket: Grand final revenge to Colts

RILEY STUARTBunbury Herald

Colts skipper Paul Reynolds produced a captain's knock of 75 in the second innings to lead his side to Bunbury and Districts Cricket Association glory, and grand final revenge over Marist at the weekend.

Reynolds' game-high hand on Sunday proved the difference at the Recreation Ground, lifting Colts to a second innings total of 200 that put them in the box seat for victory after they had trailed the Blues by 42 runs after the opening day's play.

He was only batsman to score over 50 in the match.

Chasing 159 for victory Marist were skittled for 104 – Colts cruising to a 54-run triumph that avenges two summers of grand final defeats at the hands of Marist.
