Drink driver stopped in Benger

Harvey police have charged a 32-year-old Bunbury woman after she was allegedly caught driving five times over the legal alcohol limit.

Police saw the woman driving on South Western Highway in Benger about 11pm on Friday when they did a U-turn and stopped the woman for a random breath test.

It was alleged she blew over the legal limit and was taken to the police station where she returned a reading of 0.25.

The woman has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and is due to appear in Harvey Magistrates Court on July 12.
