Football: Magpies overrun Bulls

JOSH ZIMMERMANBunbury Herald

A combined 12 goals from Aiden Fraser and Adam Dehring helped Busselton come from behind twice and survive its run with the Bulls on Sunday.

Harvey held a 10-point lead at three-quarter time but Busselton was clinical in the last quarter, booting eight-goals-to-two to win 17.6 (108) to 12.10 (82).

Fraser booted 7.3 at the Harvey Recreation Ground while Dehring kicked five, including three in the final term.

The Bulls started strongly and kicked five goals in the first quarter, including two each to Aaron Jetta and Rudy Riddoch.

Poor discipline cost Harvey at regular periods, throughout the game with Busselton gifted a number of easy set shots following 50m penalties.

Daniel McGinlay had a stellar day around the stoppages for Busselton and kicked two goals.
