Panthers regain their mojo

Just like Austin Powers, Carey Park have re-discovered their ``mojo'' following an emphatic 44-point victory over the Eaton Boomers at Glen Huon Reserve on Sunday.

The architect of their 14.8 (92) to 7.6 (48) victory was onballer Trent Denardi who sustained a magnificent four quarter effort against last week's giant-killers.

Hawks ruin Bulls season

Augusta-Margaret River 24.11 (155) def Harvey Bulls 16.8 (104)

It was shootout at the Harvey Oval on Sunday afternoon in more ways than one.

First there was the result - a whopping 51-point win to Augusta-Margaret River which has all but scuttled the Bulls chances of a top five finish this season while keeping their own wide open.

And in the individual stakes there was another shootout - Tim Noakes against big Bull Brad Smith with the mobile Noakes adding eight to take his his season tally to 51 and Smith shooting nine to advance his goals total to 49.

Tigers bounce Lions

South Bunbury 13.6 (84) def Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault 11.12 (78)

South Bunbury have bounced back to winning ways with a tense 6 point victory over HBL at Hands Oval on Saturday night.

A Josh Krueger soccer goal late in the last term broke the deadlock and held firm to record the win.

Dons' start gives Magpies a start

Busselton 23.19 (157) def Donnybrook 9.8 (62)

Donnybrook gave the Busselton Magpies the fright of their lives in the first quarter of their clash at Sir Stewart Bovell Park in Busselton.

Most pundits were predicting a big win from the locals, but Donnybrook had other ideas.

In what was probably their best quarter of footy this year, they had the Magpies on the ropes at the first break before the Magpies pulled away for a big win.

Bulldogs make best of it

Bunbury 11.16 (82) def Collie 7.10 (52)

Bunbury's experience and ability to convert their scoring opportunities paved the way for their 30-point victory over Collie Eagles at Payne Park on Sunday.
