Augusta-Margaret River stayed on course for a top three finish with a steady 21-point win over an enthusiastic Collie Eagles in wet and windy conditions at Collie on Sunday.

The finals bound Hawks were favoured to win well and not surprisingly dominated the opening ten minutes when they forced the slippery ball forward in the rain.

Tigers limp to victory

South Bunbury's 26-point victory over arch-rivals Bunbury came at a cost on Sunday after a spate of injuries during the game forced the Tigers to limp over the finish line at Hands Oval.

Nathan Braddock, captain Tim Malseed and midfielder Emmanuel Ihanimo all went down during the game, while a red card to flanker Kede Phillips meant the home side was forced to negotiate the final stages of their 11.15 (81) to 7.13 (55) without the use of their bench.

Draw takes season to the wire

Heavy rain forced turnovers early, but the Dons struck early when Curtis Guglielmana, used the breeze to guide a clever snap through.
