The 84th agricultural show was attended by an estimated 14,500 people, which was lower than previous years.

But the show's organisers were thrilled with this figure, citing the lower turnout on the impact of the general economic climate and the removal of the State Government's subsidy which allowed children free entry into agricultural shows.

The show featured entertainment from sky divers, BMX stunt riders and Australia's Got Talent finalist Jonny Taylor, plus a fireworks display to finish off the event.

There were also numerous free demonstrations including Italian sausage-making, floral art, wood turning and live milking of cows.

In the Tom Pearson Pavilion, hundreds of people enjoyed the award-winning flowers, photography, produce and food.

Bunbury resident Meisha Chalk said her family had also loved the show.

"We have had fun," she said.

"Especially for the kids - it is great for them."
