Jets set for season

The Souwest Jets will kick-off their 2012 State Netball reserves season tomorrow night with a clash against Perth Lions at Arena Joondalup.

The Jets will then return to Bunbury for a clash against Rangers at the Eaton Recreation Centre on Saturday.

Perth reached the semi-finals of the competition last season and Jets’ coach Graham Jones said the contest against the Lions would be tough because his players had only been able to complete one full training session together.

“We’re not going into it with any outrageous expectations, ” he said.

“The girls need to get to know each other, the game and what is going to be the best style and structure for us.”
