Jetta tastes premiership glory

Bunbury boy Lewis Jetta shows off the 2012 AFL Premiership Cup to Sydney Swans fans at Lakeside Oval in Melbourne on Sunday, the day after his team’s memorable grand final triumph over Hawthorn.

The Swans, who began the game as underdogs, caused a major boil over, defeating the Hawks by 10 points in a nail-biting finish at the MCG.

Jetta made his mark on the contest with a brilliant first-quarter run that had the crowd in raptures.

After the match, he promised to bring his premiership medal back to Bunbury where his family still lives.
