Man airlifted after Donnybrook crash
A man and his daughter are lucky to be alive after their car ran off the road and rolled over on Friday night.
Police were called to the crash on Marmion Street in Donnybrook about 7pm.
They believe the car drifted off the road, hit a ditch and then rolled onto its roof.
Bunbury Fire and Rescue Service and Donnybrook Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene to help free the 33-year-oldman who was trapped in the vehicle.
His eight-year-old daughter was freed from the vehicle by residents and Donnybrook Football Club members who heard the crash.
The man was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital by the RAC rescue helicopter suffering a fractured ankle while his daughter was said to have a possible fractured arm.
