Panthers outshine Bulls
Carey Park warmed up for the first of two consecutive games against Busselton with an emphatic 100-point victory over a far from full strength Harvey Bulls at Kelly Park on Saturday night.
The Panthers were full of running in the first term when they stacked on nine goals to just three.
The likes of Riley Hutchinson, David Roche, Jordan Aitken, Braden Lawler and especially Reece Richardson were dynamic and enabled the Panthers to repeatedly go inside 50.
Jordan Aiken booted a couple of quick goals and went on to kick four for the game as well as half a dozen points including two posters and a couple out of bounds.
The Bulls battled hard with Kieran Germs doing some good work in the ruck, Toby McNamara kicking two of his four goals for the game and three goals for the term.
The Panthers continued to dominate in the second, but 4.8 was disappointing and the lead was now out to 71 points.
The Bulls added three goals in the third as they battled hard but the Panthers were back on song with seven of their own.
Viv Blurton was busy in game 150 while a much-improved Des Corbett put his stamp on the game with his clearing dashes from defence penetrating disposal and timely intercepts.
