Philp named as Bunbury Chamber chief

Ray Philp is the new chief executive officer of the Bunbury Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

He will replace Andrew Horan, who has been in the position for two-and-a-half years.

Mr Philp has already been involved with the Chamber and the Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry (WA), while he also represents the South West Chambers of Commerce and Industry on the Business Industry Liaison Group and the South West Workforce Development Alliance.

‘‘I have long believed the Bunbury Chamber should take a greater leadership role in the economic and community development of our region,’’ he said.

BCCI president Steven Down welcomed Mr Philp to the team.

’’He has built and maintained successful high performance teams, and has extensive commercial, community and government networks.’’
