Police keep vigil after death in Glen Iris

Bunbury Herald

Bunbury detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man at a Glen Iris home on Sunday night.

The Bunbury Herald understands the 57-year-old was found by a friend at about 8pm at his Nenke Way unit, but the cause of death is yet to be determined.

An autopsy was to be carried out yesterday.

Acting Sgt Aaron Mathews said police were investigating the death but it was believed to be ‘‘non suspicious at this stage’’

‘‘Bunbury detectives are investigating and are awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine how suspicious the death is, whether it is suspicious or not,’’ he said.

‘‘At this stage we’re not 100 per cent sure but it could be non suspicious.’’

A police unit was stationed at the house from yesterday morning with police tape cordoning off the entrance to the home.
