Investigators from the Major Crash Squad are seeking information from the public about a crash in Myalup yesterday morning.

Two people were injured in the crash on Forrest Highway, near Myalup Beach Road, and one was flown to Perth for treatment.

The north-bound lane of Forrest Highway was closed for some time following the crash.

Police said a white Holden Commodore sedan, driven by a 28-year-old man, and a blue Ford ute, collided about 7.10am.

The driver received minor injuries but his 20-year-old male passenger was flown to Royal Perth Hospital in the RAC Rescue helicopter.

He was in serious but stable condition.

The Major Crash Squad were at the scene along with officers from the South West Traffic unit.

Police yesterday released information about the crash hoping for witnesses to come forward.

Officers from the Major Crash Squad want to speak to anyone who was travelling on Forrest Highway yesterday morning and may have seen the crash or either vehicle before the crash.
