Save It Expo - water, energy initiatives

Whether it’s the latest technology in solar power, water-wise gardens, energy efficient cars, or the latest rebates, the Save It Water & Energy Expo will have something for everyone.

Event organiser Regional Development Australia is calling for exhibitors to showcase their energy or water initiatives at the Expo, which will bring all the latest technologies and innovations together at the Bunbury Turf Club.

Sunwise Electrics is one of a number of local companies exhibiting at the Expo, and will display some of the most advanced solar technologies available to reduce power bills and save energy.

Asa local solar specialist and electrical contractor, proprietor Glen Holland keeps up to date with cutting-edge technologies so he can offer the latest products to his clients.

RDA South West executive officer Charles Jenkinson said the expo was a great opportunity for people to showcase their initiatives and for people to see the range of products, services and government rebates available.

‘‘Energy and water efficiencies are some of the most topical issues in today’s society, with new technologies and initiatives appearing just about every week,’’ MrJenkinson said.

‘‘People will be able to see the latest technologies in one place and learnhowthey can adopt more environmentally sound practices and save money at the same time.

‘‘We will be showcasing everything from solar and wind power to hybrid cars, insulation, rainwater harvesting, sustainable housing, lighting, water-wise gardens and much more.’’

The Save It Water & Energy Expo will be held at the Bunbury Turf Club on Earth Hour Day — Saturday, March 26.
