Smoke covers Bunbury

Prescribed burns near Margaret River, Nannup and Donnybrook by the Department of Environment and Conservation over the weekend resulted in a smoke alert for many parts of the South West.

A pall descended on Bunbury yesterday afternoon, captured in this shot by photographer David Bailey of St Boniface Cathedral shrouded in smoke.

DEC advised that they expected the smoke to clear by today.
