Storm terror as toilet block demolished

An East Bunbury family lay on their kitchen floor for 40 minutes as tin and wooden planks were thrown towards their home on Sunday afternoon.

Jason Martison was standing at his front window when strong winds tore the roof off the Bunbury Football Club's toilet block, sending the debris towards their home.

``We just got on the floor and stayed there until things sounded like they had calmed down,'' he said.

``Everything was flying everywhere – it was like it had been blown up.’’
