The Collie Eagles got home in a thriller against South Bunbury at the Collie Recreation Ground on Sunday, with the home side defeating the Tigers by just one point.

Amidst a week of mourning the death of club legend Chris Sheehan, a defiant Donnybrook outfit fell just 26-points short of toppling league leaders Eaton Boomers at VC Mitchell Park on Sunday.

In an emotional encounter the Dons could not hold-off the strong finishing Boomers who overrun the home side 9.14 (68) to 6.6 (42).
