1. Monster trucks

The original monster truck, Bigfoot, will make its first ever appearance at the Quit Bunbury Speedway on Saturday alongside the all-new Aussie legend Outback Thunda and the brand new Crusty Demon monster truck. There will be a back flipping snowmobile, flame throwing jet quad and Bunbury’s biggest ever stadium fireworks skyshow. For tickets call 0447 666 782.

2. FREE4YOUth

Bunbury Catholic College band The Stilts have been confirmed to perform at the FREE4YOUth with Bendigo Bank event, backstage at Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre on Wednesday from 4.30pm to 5.30pm. Grab your mates, chill out with some video games on the big screen, enjoy the live music and eat free pizza. This event is free and open to anyone under 25. It’s the perfect after school activity.

3. Arj Barker

Arj Barker, arguably Australia’s favourite American comedian, returns to the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre on Thursday at 8pm with his hilarious new show Go Time. Tickets for this evening of laughs are available online at www.bunburyentertainment.com or by calling 1300 661 272.

4. The Fab Four

Dance the night away and relive all of the Beatles’ hits with The Fab Four Beatles Tribute Band this Friday at the Sanctuary Golf Resort. The band is celebrating 20 years of touring internationally and will bring a sense of Beatlemania to Eaton for one night. For pre-sale tickets call 9725 2777. Numbers are limited to allow maximum room for dancing.

5. Quiz night

Get friends and family together and put their general knowledge to the test at the 1st Leschenault Scouts Group quiz night on Saturday. The event will be held at the Eaton Softball Rooms, Council Drive, Eaton. Arrive at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. There will be an open bar but no BYO drinks. 6. Extraterrestrial

He is afraid, he is alone, he is three million light years from home, he is E.T. Watch the 1982 family favourite — about a troubled child summoning up the courage to help a friendly alien escape earth and return to his home world — at Bunbury Grand Cinemas on Saturday.

7. Action flick

Treat the family to an action-packed adventure this week when Australian export Chris Hemsworth returns as the hero in Thor: The Dark World. In this sequel, Thor is forced to sacrifice everything in his fight against an ancient race to try to restore order between the realms.

8. Kid Mac

Sydneysider Kid Mac has built a reputation in the Australian music scene with a sound which sets him apart from other MCs. With lyrics that capture the experiences of today’s youth, super catchy sing-along melodies, dance floor beats and a fine-tuned live presence, Kid Mac is setting himself up to be one of Australia’s future influential figures. Catch Kid Mac at the Prince of Wales Hotel on Thursday.

9. Bodyjar

Australian punk band Bodyjar is travelling the country for the No Touch Red tour for its latest album, Role Model. The band will be taking to the stage at the Prince of Wales Hotel on Saturday at 8pm. To book tickets visit oztix.com.au.

10. Open Garden

The Capel and Districts Garden Club is holding a friendship fundraising day at Julia’s Garden, 1237 Goodwood Road, Capel. The 80-acre immaculately manicured property is owned by Evelyn and Ian Taylor. A donation to the SIDS for Kids is required to enter the property. There will be tours, advice, and refreshments.
