1. Australia Day

So much to do and so little time to do it. Australia Day celebrations in Bunbury will go off, with live entertainment, sideshow, kids and teen activities and, of course, the hugely-anticipated fireworks spectacular at 8.30pm. 2. Fun Run

Stretch those legs and get pumped for the activities happening later in the day by taking part in the Australia Day Fun Run. The run will be held by the Bunbury Runners Club, starting opposite Bicentennial Square on Blair Street at 7.30am. There are 5km and 10km runs or a 5km walk to choose from. 3. Rail Open Day

An open day will be held at the South West Rail and Heritage Centre on Turner Road, Boyanup, on Sunday from 10am to 2pm. See the displays of railway locomotives, including the iconic Leschenault Lady, farm machinery and old stationary engines. 4. Rock ‘n’ Roll

A Rock ‘n’ Roll Super Sunday session featuring GT and the Falcons’ four-piece band will be held on Sunday from 6pm to 9pm at World Kitchen. Entry is $15 per person, which includes a tasty Blue Suede burger and salad. People are encouraged to make use of the dance floor by dancing the night away. 5. Turf Club

Bunbury Turf Club will have races on the Australia Day public holiday next Monday, so people will have an entertaining way to wind up an action-packed weekend before returning to work on Tuesday. Gates open at 11am and the first race will be run between 12.30pm and 1pm. Food and drinks will be available and entry will be adults $10, concession $8 and under 18s free. 6. Proud Mary

The Prince of Wales Hotel will host Proud Mary on Friday, with doors open from 8pm. Proud Mary is a Creedence Clearwater Revival Tribute band, featuring former members of Baby Animals. 7. Film Festival

The Summer Film Festival finishes on Australia Day at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre, with nine films from around the world. The final film viewing will be at 5.30pm on January 26, showing Lore. Lore is a German film following the troubles of youth after World War II. 8. The Guilt Trip

Seth Rogen and Barbara Streisand team up in comedy film in The Guilt Trip, about a mother and son going on a business trip. Rogen plays Andy Brewster, who is an inventor trying to sell his organic cleaner. He decides to drive across the country to promote his invention and takes his mother (Streisand), who has been alone since the death of her husband, to San Francisco to meet one of her exboyfriends. 9. The Impossible

Based on a true story, The Impossible follows the story of one family trying to survive in the 2004 tsunami in Thailand.
