1. Bushfire concert

A FAMILY day and concert will be held as a bushfire relief fundraiser for those affected by the Waroona-Harvey fires.

The South West Italian Club will host the event, organised by the Gateway Church Bunbury, and it will feature a sausage sizzle, bouncy castle and afternoon activities from 4pm.

There will also be concerts in the afternoon and evening.

Tickets can be bought from Ticketbooth and all money raised will go to the Lord Mayor‘s Distress Relief Fund.

2. Spectre

ST Aidan Wines will hold its first Films on the Ferguson screening on Friday, when James Bond’s Spectre is played at the winery.

Watch a film under the stars with food and drink available to purchase, with gates opening at 5.30pm.

The winery is located at 754 Ferguson Road, Dardanup.

3. The Great Bug Hunt

COME along to Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre on Thursday for some interactive school holiday fun which is ideal for 2 to 8-year-olds.

Squisher and Squasher in: The Great Bug Hunt is a fully interactive show featuring original songs, dancing, singing, silliness and fun.

Free activities will be held from 9am to 3pm for ticket holders, with shows at 10am and 1pm.

AUSTRALIAN roots band The Beautiful Girls will be at the Prince of Wales Hotel in Bunbury on Sunday.

The band was forced to cancel a tour last year due to singer Mat McHugh’s health problems, however they have returned strong.

Their Summer SoundSystem national tour is under way and has the long-serving band performing songs from their extensive back catalogue, along with some surprises.

5. Summer films

THE summer film series continues at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre this Saturday, with the Academy Award-nominated Omar screening at 1pm before Birdman: Or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), an Academy Award winner for best picture, screening at 3pm.

6. Goosebumps

POPULAR 1990s teenage horror fiction book series Goosebumps comes to the big screen at Grand Cinemas Bunbury.

It tells the story of Zach, an American teenager who moves to a small town.

His enthusiasm levels for the move increase when he meets a beautiful girl next door, whose father is R.L Stine, author of the Goosebumps books.

All the ghosts and monsters from the books are kept locked in the Stine household, but Zach accidentally releases them, forcing them to team up and save the day.

7. Cinderella

THIS is your final chance to see Cinderella, the latest production from Bunbury Musical Comedy Group.

The classic tale will be told at the New Lyric Theatre on Bunbury’s Bourke Street in three shows over the weekend.

They will take place at 7.30pm on Friday and 1pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets can be bought from Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre.

8. Vulture Culture

VULTURE Culture comedy returns to the Prince of Wales Hotel for the first time in 2016.

Tomorrow night’s headliner is Australian Colin Cole, who has performed around the world and received rave reviews from the New York Times.

Corey White will open the show and Dan Willis will be the MC.

The show begins at 8.30pm with tickets available from the venue or online.

9. Trots

PACING action returns to Bunbury Trotting Club this weekend.

A full race card will be held at the club on Saturday night, which is their second meeting of the season.

Exact race times and fields will be confirmed closer to the date.

10. Boyanup Markets

FRESH produce will be a good supply when Boyanup Farmers Market is held on Sunday.

The Boyanup Memorial Park on South Western Highway will host the event which will feature a range of stalls.
