1. Footy action
Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault host Donnybrook at 4.40pm on Saturday to start Round 3 of the South West Football League. Busselton then hosts Eaton Boomers at 6.10pm in a meeting of two 2014 finalists. The remaining three matches - Collie Eagles v Carey Park, Harvey Bulls v South Bunbury and Bunbury v Augusta-Margaret River - will be played at 2.30pm on Sunday.
2. Rapper at the Prince
One of Australia's most popular rappers will play at the Prince of Wales Hotel on Thursday night. Fans will flock to see 360 perform the many hits that have earned him popularity and success. 3. Music legends
Touring by popular demand for a third year, the 2015 Apia Good Times Tour is back. This year's line-up features legendary Australian performers Brian Cadd, Joe Camilleri and Glenn Shorrock and special guest Kate Ceberano. 4. A Lover's Concerto
Family relationships and the West Coast Eagles are themes of Bunbury Repertory Club's latest production. It is the premiere of A Lover's Concerto as a couple, Sally and Harry, enjoy a new relationship in their 60s. A subplot involves protagonist Sally's younger sister Marcia and her husband Eric, who is an avid Eagles supporter. It will be performed at 8pm on Friday and Saturday plus 2pm on Sunday at Eaton's Little Theatre on Pratt Road, and at the same times the following weekend. 5. New era of horror
Unfriended has been described as starting a new era of horror films. Produced by Universal Pictures, the studio acquired the film's rights after a test screening terrified an audience. The film tells the story of a teenager and her friends who are stalked by an unseen figure online seeking vengeance. Created by the same filmmaker as Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, the film opens at Grand Cinemas Bunbury on Thursday.
6. Culture contrast
The contrast between central Australia's emptiness and the globalisation of the nation's cities is showcased in a new exhibition at Bunbury Regional Art Galleries. These two distinctive cultures are presented through film making and fine art in the work of 10 contemporary Australian artists. Some of the films resemble documentaries while others remodel existing footage. It will be displayed at Bunbury Regional Art Galleries until June 14.
7. Treehouse book reading
READ the book, see the show. Come and enjoy a morning of story time at Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre tomorrow from 10am as the adventures of The 26-Storey Treehouse are explored. Two Black Box Youth Theatre students will be reading chapters from the book, followed by morning tea and some colouring-in fun. There will also be a family pass up for grabs, and a special ticket offer to the show on Thursday May 7 for anyone who purchases on the day.
8. Fight of the century
The boxing match dubbed the fight of the century will be screened live at the Prince of Wales Hotel. Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao will clash in a long-anticipated bout in Las Vegas but a special screening will take place in Bunbury. Doors will open at 9am on Sunday and the $15 tickets include a buffet breakfast.
9. Open Mic Night
Bunbury's Lighthouse Beach Resort will host another open mic night on Friday. Doors open at 7.45pm ahead of the entertainment starting at 8pm. Entry is $10 for adults and $5 for under-18s accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. From music to poetry, comedy to dance, the night will be full of surprises and entertaining performances.
10. Phoenix at home
South West Phoenix will play their second home league match of the 2015 State League division one soccer season. Perth side Western Knights will provide the opposition as two of the league's unbeaten teams clash. Payne Park will host the match at 3pm on Saturday.
