The South West will be embracing the spookiest of days this year with events guaranteed to frighten and delight.

The events will start with the Imperfect Painter hosting Halloween craft workshops on Friday and Saturday to help people make their own haunted decorations.

The workshops will be on October 25 from 6pm and again on October 26 from 1pm, with tickets and bookings via the Imperfect Painter website.

Next up will be the Ruby Lounge’s Saints and Sinners Halloween party on Saturday night.

The crew are encouraging people to embrace their inner angel or devil, with “electrifying beats, themed cocktails, and a night of mischievous fun” to be had.

Doors open from 7pm with $55 tickets including four drinks.

Also on Saturday night will be the Fright Night Silent Disco at Eaton Tavern from 8pm.

The spookiest outfit will win a best dressed prize.

Kids can get involved in the fun on Sunday at Treendale Farm Hotel from midday with activities such as face painting and bubble play by Pixiewood Creations.

A DJ will be spinning tracks throughout the afternoon for the kids disco with lollies, games and festive surprises.

There will be a spooky sea shanty night on Thursday next week at the Wellington Hotel and a Halloween quiz night at the Rose Hotel the same night. It will test how well people know horror movies and more — with dress ups “highly encouraged”. Doors open from 6pm.
