Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre has offered an "open invite" to Hollywood star Hugh Jackman to visit.

This comes after Jackman declined an offer to feature at the entertainment centre's 25th anniversary performance in December.

"We invited Hugh Jackman to Bunbury as we admire the work that the Jackman Furness Foundation is doing for WAAPA and the performing arts in Western Australia," BREC general manager Joel McGuinness said.

However, Mr McGuinness said Jackman was welcome to visit BREC at any time.

The entertainment centre wants to hear from anyone with BREC photographs, newspaper clippings or documents.
