Paralympian Brad Scott has added another medal to his collection, winning silver in the men's T37 1500m at the IPC Athletics World Championships on Friday.

Scott, who suffers from cerebral palsy, finished second to Ireland's Michael McKillop in the final at Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha, Qatar.

The 27-year-old finished the 1500m race in 4:21.12, just under five seconds from McKillop.

The silver joins another he won in the 800m race in front of 90,000 people at the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing, as well as silver and bronze medals he won at the London 2012 Paralympics.

Scott has an excellent record at the championships, having won silver in the 800m at the 2011 IPC Athletics World Championships as well as bronze in the 4x100m T33-38 relay.

Scott used this year's championships for preparation ahead of next year's Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro.
