Summer girls hit the catwalk
Summer heated up at the Parade Hotel on Sunday when seven lovely ladies competed for a spot in the final of this year's Miss Summer Parade.
The crowd rolled in and enjoyed the fun of the event, with games keeping the public entertained between heats, while the onstage action was of a high standard.
At 3.30pm the women hit the catwalk in their opening presentation, before a dress round and two bikini rounds.
Judges braved the warm conditions and were impressed with the opening standard of this year's entrants, with a great variety of colour and style on show.
Shelby Grzelka, Allison Roberts, Ashlee Julian and Rebekah Bruce all went into the final to be held on February
Classique Model Management director and Miss Summer Parade organiser Tamara Dimov said she was happy with the standard in the first heat.
"There were lots of fresh faces which is great to see," she said.
"This weekend there will be another exciting heat.
"If any girls think they have what it takes give me a call."
The second heat of the Miss Summer Parade is on Sunday.
There are still places left in this year's competition and tables can be booked by calling the Parade Hotel.
