WA’s 17-year-old songbird Gisella Colletti will take to the stage once again with her idol Tina Arena, and this time it’s in Perth.

The Chains singer revealed on Friday that she has invited the 17-year-old star to join her her for the first show of her Encore tour.

“I’m really looking forward to welcoming @gisellacolletti_music to the stage for the first show of the tour! From Idol to Encore,” Arena wrote to Instagram.

In the heartwarming video, Arena gushed about how much she enjoyed performing with Gisella.

“The reason I really wanted you to come and sing in Perth is first of all you’ve spent the last two months working really hard on TV, but I wanted you to come on stage because I feel that you deserve the opportunity to be able to get up and sing and see the audience,” Tina said.

Gisella thanked Arena and said: “It was so nice chatting with you Tina! Thank you for everything, I can’t wait to perform with you again it is a dream come true”.

The pair previously performed together during the Australian Idol, blowing fans away.

Gisella and Arena duetted singing Heaven Help My Heart, and their performance led to a standing ovation from the judges.

At the time Gisella said singing with her idol was a a “pinch-me” moment.

In an incredible effort Gisella placed third in the Australian Idol competition. and it seems the 17-year-old’s dreams are just beginning.

Fans of the rising star and Aussie icon will be able to see the first show in Arena’s tour at Riverside Theatre in Perth on April 27.
