There's plenty on our Top 10 list this week. What's on yours?

1. Eisteddfod

A month of performances will culminate in the WA Performing Arts Eisteddfod Gala Concert at Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre on Saturday night. Highlights of this year's eisteddfod will be showcased. The concert will begin at 7pm with tickets available from www.bunburyentertainment.com or by calling 1300 661 272.

2. Slammers at home

After several weeks on the road, the Collie Crane Hire South West Slammers will again take to their home court. Perth-based Perry Lakes Hawks provide the opposition for this Friday night's clash at Eaton Recreation Centre. Tip-off times are 6.30pm (women) and 8.30pm (men). The Slammers will then back up for matches in Perth the following night.

3. Akmal in Bunbury

Known for his incredible ability to deal with hot topics in a hilarious and slightly offensive way, Akmal is one of Australia's most respected and accomplished comics. Don't miss Akmal's new show, Lost, at Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre this Thursday night from 8pm. Tickets are available at www.bunburyentertainment.com or call 1300 661 272.

4. Irish theatre

Stark Raven Theatre presents an Irish double feature this weekend. It begins with The Les Darcy Show, a comedy of a great Aussie boxing champ of proud Irish parents and is followed by The O'Reilly, Lawson and Paterson Show. This all singing, dancing, fighting and reciting show, will be showcased at the Little Theatre, Pratt Road, Eaton. Shows will take place at 8pm on Friday and Saturday and 2pm Sunday with tickets available from Jolt Footwear, Bunbury or at www.trybooking.com/HEWX .

5. Ted 2 to screen

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane returns for the sequel of his irreverent but popular comedy Ted. Mark Wahlberg and his sidekick Ted, voiced by MacFarlane, are back for another round of adventures that are definitely not suited to children. Ted is newly married and wants to have a baby with wife Tami-Lynn but things are not that simple and plenty of humour ensues. The film opens at Grand Cinemas Bunbury on Thursday.

6. Footy action

Saturday afternoon games get Round 11 of the South West Football League season underway. Collie Eagles host Augusta-Margaret River at 2.30pm before Carey Park travel to Busselton for a 4.40pm match. At 2.30pm on Sunday, Bunbury hosts Donnybrook, South Bunbury are at home to Eaton while Harvey Bulls have a home ground advantage in the derby against Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault.

7. Country Big Guns

Relive the magic and the great hits of country superstars Glen Campbell, Johnny Cash and John Denver in a truly unique and inspiring tribute to three music legends who dominated the charts in the 1960s and 70s. Big Guns of Country is coming to BREC this Friday night from 8pm.

8. Phoenix test

South West Phoenix will look to get their season back on track when they host Shamrock Rovers at Payne Park on Saturday. After a disappointing few weeks, this match against the reigning State League division one champions will provide a stern test for the South West's representative soccer side. The match kicks off at 3pm.

9. Comedy night

Canadian comedians will be showcased at a special comedy night at the Prince of Wales Hotel on Wednesday. Pat Burtscher, who has toured the world for more than 10 years and has performed in festivals on multiple continents, will headline the event. Tickets to the Vulture Culture Comedy night, which begins at 8.30pm, are $10 if booked in advance or $15 on the night.

10. Night at the trots

Harness racing continues at Bunbury Trotting Club on Saturday night. A full race card will take place with the first race starting about 5.20pm. The course's restaurant will also be open to allow punters to enjoy a meal which watching the action unfold under lights.
