1. Virtual orchestra

A unique exhibition that will make people feel part of the Australian Chamber Orchestra is showing at Bunbury Regional Art Galleries. ACO Virtual features vision of the musicians being projected onto screens around the room with sound being played from each screen. Touch-screen technology allows visitors to customise their experience to the instruments they most want to hear.

2. Man of the people

One of Australia's blokiest comedians will be in Bunbury tomorrow night. Chris Franklin, who embraces a bogan image through his comedy, will be performing at the Prince of Wales Hotel's monthly Vulture Culture comedy night. His first CD single was called _Bloke _ and went platinum. His style is aimed to appeal to the everyday Australian and tickets to see his show are available from the venue.

3. School fete

More than 50 stalls have been confirmed for South Bunbury Primary School's fete on Sunday from 8.30am. It will be a day for families and children with pony rides, bouncy castle, train rides, specialty stalls and Christmas gifts. Entry is free and it will run between 10am and 2pm at the school on Prosser Street.

4. ECU spring fair

Edith Cowan University's Bunbury campus will be the venue for a spring fair on Sunday. A best dressed teddy competition will be one of the unique elements to this event, which runs between 11am and 2pm. It will also include health and wellness stalls, music, face painting, food vans and a sausage sizzle.

5. Monty Python

Monty Python's Spamalot will be performed cabaret-style by Bunbury Repertory Club from tomorrow. The musical tells the tale of King Arthur's quest for the Holy Grail and includes all of the frivolity associated with Monty Python humour, including a rendition of the famous Always Look on the Bright Side of Life. The shows start from 7.30pm tomorrow, 8pm Friday and Saturday and a 2pm Sunday matinee. Tickets to the show can be bought online or from the performance venue Little Theatre on Pratt Road, Eaton.

6. Collie Show

Collie is gearing up for its popular annual show, which will be held on Saturday. The Wallsend Showgrounds will be filled with entertainment including farm animals, garden and cooking workshops and music. Former West Coast Eagle Andrew Embley will do a cooking demonstration while there will also be sideshow alley, market stalls, machinery displays and fireworks.

7. Choir to perform

A Perth choir will perform at St Boniface Cathedral on Saturday. The Boys' Choir of St George's Cathedral, Perth will perform at the Bunbury cathedral from 4pm. Tickets are available for purchase from Jolt Footwear on Victoria Street, Bunbury. For more information contact Barbra on 0404 059 185.

8. Hunger Games

The much anticipated Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part Two opens at Grand Cinemas Bunbury on Thursday. In the sequel, the nation of Panem is in full-scale war, which the rebels are close to winning. Katniss, played by Jennifer Lawrence, must risk her life to liberate the people of Panem and attempt to kill President Snow along the way. A special screening of part one will be shown from 9.15pm tomorrow followed by a midnight screening of the M-rated Part Two.

9. Around the grounds

Three First Grade matches are scheduled in round seven of the Bunbury and Districts Cricket Association season on Saturday. Marist and Leschenault will meet at Forrest Park while Colts will host Eaton at the Bunbury Recreation Ground. The other match will see Hay Park travel to Collie for a match at Roche Park. All matches will begin at 12.30pm.

10. Races all weekend

Racing fans will be catered for this weekend. Meetings will be held at Bunbury Trotting Club on Saturday night and Bunbury Turf Club on Sunday afternoon. A full race card will be held at both venues with exact race times to be confirmed later in the week.
