Wembley: Pedestrian, aged in her 60s, rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by van
A woman was rushed to hospital with critical overnight after being hit by a van while crossing a road in Wembley.
Police said a white Toyota Hiace van was travelling south on Harborne Street when it collided with a woman, aged in her 60s, about 8.10pm on Thursday.
The woman was crossing the road at the time, police said.
“The pedestrian received serious injuries and was taken by St John WA to Royal Perth Hospital,” a spokeswoman continued.
The woman was in a critical condition in Royal Perth Hospital on Friday.
Road policing group north officers are probing the incident and urge anyone who saw the pedestrian or the van before the crash to contact crime stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online.
