Bulls Gold has knocked Bulls Maroon off the top of the Dale Alcock Homes Bunbury Basketball Association A-grade ladder, fighting back from an early 17-point deficit for a 90-85 win on Friday night.

Maroon took an early lead and looked to have the game with Trent Worthington scoring 19 of his game high 29 points in the first half, but the inclusion of Chris Douglas (24 points) to the Gold squad proved the match winner as he dominated the second half.

Gold's Brynn Francis (17) and Brad Fiori (16) also had great games, while Maroon's Paddy Phillips (22) and Michael Gliddon (15) were solid.

Busselton kept their place in the top four with a 78-62 win over Tornadoes Red, with guard Matt Mansfield using his speed to score a game high 25 points for the winning side.

Aces Navy pulled out a tough 64-53 win over Aces White to take sole ownership of the top of the ladder with a 6-1 win/loss record, ahead of Maroon and Tornadoes Black who have 5-2 records.

Tornadoes Black easily accounted for Tornadoes Grey 85-51, with Jason Smith scoring 21 points for the winners.

In the women's games, Bulls withstood an impressive shooting performance by Tornadoes guard Dena English to record a 61-50 win. English scored 30 of her team's 50 points, including eight three-pointers, while Bulls were led by Brittany Gliddon (21) and Rebecca Preston (15).

Aces Blue defeated Busselton 56-36 thanks to Raya Thompson's 22 points, with Felicity Jones leading Busselton' scorers with 14.
