Brendon Pallot is $10,000 richer thanks to The Game and Complete Home Filtration after the man nicknamed ‘Mr Football’ executed a perfect final round to finish top of the AFLW tipping charts.

Pallot, who goes by his moniker in The Game, said it was a dead heat heading into the final round of the AFLW season but

“I’ve had the nickname Mr Football for nearly 20 years because I used to always chat about it with my mates and it’s stuck,” Mr Pallot said.

“I was equal top heading into the final round and I tipped nine winners but I was off with my margin by 14 points so I was still a bit nervous.

“But the results came in about 20 minutes later and I was jumping up and down in my parent’s lounge room as I was visiting them, I told them I would shout them Chinese that night.”

Mr Pallot is no stranger to tipping triumph having won The West Australian’s Big Bash fantasy competition a few years ago and is looking forward to getting stuck into the cricket season with registrations now open.

“I love the tipping, I love the BBL, so I’ll definitely be joining in to have a crack at the cricket again this summer,” he said.

Pallot shared his tips for staying ahead in The Game.

“I knew I couldn’t tip the favourites every week, you’ve got to try and get at least one roughie every week and take a few weeks,

“Injuries always play a big part so I was always keeping an eye on the ins and outs.

“I shared the love a bit giving $100 to each of my siblings and parents and $50 to each to my workmates.”

Registration for The Game’s cricket competition is now open with $20,000 on the line for the winner thanks to McDonald’s.
