Follow all the action in our live blog.

Galle action

The groundsmen in Sri Lanka are getting to work as the rain finally ceases.

There is no start time locked in yet but hopefully play will resume soon.

Dinner in the Ashes

Sutherland heads into the Dinner break with an average of 93 and having nearly guided the home side to 300.

She barely seems to be breaking a sweat as she takes an interview on the way off.

“It’s a pretty special place, especially for Victorians. So, I’m glad I was able to spend a bit of time out there,” she told Channel 7.

“I knew the longer we were out there the easier it would get so we were able to cash in a little bit at the end there.

“I think we’ll try and get as far ahead as we can.”

Women’s Test

We are going to switch it up for a bit and take you to the MCG.

Sutherland is currently unbeaten on 124 with a career average of 91.40.

So, lets se if, albiet in only six matches, she can get to Bradman’s mark before getting out.

No change

There’s no new updates from Galle.

It appears the skies are looking better but the rain is still smattering down.

Sutherland a gun!

While it rains in Galle, Annabell Sutherland has become the first woman to hit a century at the MCG!

She came into the game with future star written all over her and now with an Ashes Test match century, she is simply a star.

She hit a Test double ton at the WACA against South Africa last year but this knock would feel even better.

England on the other hand have been diabolical.

Humans don’t have enough fingers to count their dropped catches as Australia streak away from them in a seventh straight game.

Rain remains

It’s still raining in Galle and the covers are firmly in place on the ground.

It’s not super heavy but the restart has been delayed.

Rain!

The weather has come from nowhere and the players are off the field.

The umpires have called an early lunch with the break just 14 minutes away anyway.

Chandimal bats through the session but it’s another good one for the Aussies.

Stumped!

Kuhnemann gets the Sri Lanka skipper!

De Silva charged the spinner and didn’t get close as the leftie speared the ball a bit wider.

It was the easiest of stumpings for Carey.

It was close to the first time de Silva had used his feet and he wanted a boundary.

He departs for 22.
