A lucky NBA fan is US$100,000 richer after pipping star player Damian Lillard in a three-point shootout at the NBA All Star games today.

During the halftime show before Shaq OG’s took on Candace’s Rising Stars, the fan, named Jaren, managed to nail a three-pointer right on the buzzer.

The fan, chosen at random from the crowd by YouTube megastar MrBeast, had to shoot a three-pointer before Lillard made one.

Moments after MrBeast told the fan the NBA was “about to go to commercial” he finally dropped a long bomb to rapturous applause and embraced NBA greats Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith before climbing into a glass box full of fake US currency.

The huge financial windfall came after Chuck’s Global All Stars beat Kenny’s Young Stars 41-32.

The winning teams from each game will play in an All Star games final later today.
