Albany’s Triple M is calling on the community to donate new blankets to assist the homeless community as winter sets in.

The radio station will display a month’s worth of donated blankets before handing them to local charities during a live broadcast at the Albany town hall on Saturday.

Breakfast show announcer Atlas Cook said they were glad to be a part of “such an amazing cause”.

“I hope that everyone can come together as a community and help,” they said.
