Man dead after Harvey crash
ONE man died and another suffered serious injuries after two separate car crashes in the Greater Bunbury region at the weekend.
A Bunbury man died after he was thrown from a four-wheel-drive that rolled near Harvey on Saturday night.
The 34-year-old was a passenger in the Toyota Landcruiser, which rolled when the driver swerved to avoid a kangaroo on Honeymoon Road, near Medway Road, about 7.30pm.
The 45-year-old driver lost control of the car and it rolled twice before landing against a tree.
The 34-year-old deceased man was one of two passengers.
Also on Saturday night, a Ballajura man suffered serious injuries after his Nissan Patrol ute hit a tree in Eaton.
The 21-year-old, who was alone in the vehicle, had been driving north along the Australind Bypass, when he lost control 11.30pm.
He was taken to Bunbury Hospital for treatment.
Police are investigating the crashes.
