Police seek fast food robber

A man covering his face with a cloth and hooded jumper has threatened three staff members at a Bunbury Chicken Treat Store during an armed hold up yesterday.

About 3.25pm, the man entered the Minninup Forum takeaway store armed with a large kitchen knife.

Det-Sen. Const Mark Tweedale said the man threatened the staff, including a 14-year-old employee, with the knife before fleeing the shop with a sum of cash.

Det-Sen. Const Tweedale said the whole robbery took less than two minutes.

``For someone to go in there armed with a knife at that time of day especially is a concern,’’ he said.

``We are still looking for the offender.’’
